About the Proceedings

The volume contains selected, peer-reviewed papers from the Modern Tools for Sustainable Development of Territories. Special Topic: Project Management in the Regions of Russia (MTSDT 2019), 04-05 December 2019, Yaroslav-the-Wise Novgorod State University, Russia.

The purpose of the conference was to formulate recommendations for regional development policy and to bring together representatives of public authorities, businesses, civil society and the scientific and educational community for this purpose. The special topic of the conference 2019 was “Project Management in the Regions of Russia”. The relevance of this issue is due to both its applied importance and insufficient study in the context of general patterns of regional development, considered in the unity of economic and managerial aspects. The problem of sustainability and effectiveness of project management in territorial development was one of the most important tasks of theoretical and methodological support of the Russian economy.

186 full papers were subjected to a single-blind review process and 128 full papers were accepted for publication. The papers presented at the conference covered the covered thematic sections on State – region – industry – enterprise –system stability frame of the Russian economy;The concept of sustainable development as a philosophy of modern society development; Impact of national projects on sustainable territorial development; Focus on the effectiveness of the use of budgetary funds in the regions of the Russian Federation; Project financing and strategic development; The role of universities in the projects of territorial development and Project management in the real sector of the economy and the development of system management.
