Abstract
CPO is a leading commodity in the Indonesian economy and food security. Among the challenges faced is the continued weakening of the Rupiah exchange rate, which has resulted in a decline in demand for CPO exports. The objective of this study is to analyze the influence of national CPO production levels, international CPO prices, the Indonesian inflation rate, and the real exchange rate on Indonesian CPO export volume. This study uses multiple linear regression methods and classical assumptions with secondary data in the form of time series. The results show that the variables of national CPO production levels, international CPO prices, and the real exchange rate have a significant positive effect on CPO export volume. Meanwhile, inflation has no effect on CPO export volume. It is hoped that through government policies, exports of palm oil-based finished products can increase with higher added value than exports of raw materials. There is a CPO export promotion strategy by creating policies to encourage investment in agricultural technology to advance the agricultural sector and provide subsidies to farmers. Managerial implications include increasing investment in logistics and infrastructure to reduce export costs, thereby making Indonesian CPO more competitive in the international market; economic diversification by exploring other agricultural exports to increase economic resilience to market fluctuations and reduce dependence, even though CPO is a leading sector that influences CPO export volume. Future research could include variables such as domestic consumption, export tariff policies, and non-tariff barriers that influence CPO export volume.
