Abstract
This study investigates the relationship between product performance and product acceptance, as well as the moderating effect of attitude, towards consumers’ acceptance of electrical and electronic (E&E) products in Malaysia. A self-administered questionnaire was used to gather quantitative data from 550 Malaysian E&E consumers, who were selected via the quota sampling technique. Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) and SmartPLS 3 were employed to analyse the data. The results indicated a positive relationship between product performance and product acceptance, suggesting that positive attitudes towards a product will result in higher product acceptance among customers. The findings offer valuable implications for consumers, academicians, companies, and researchers in improving the development and acceptance of electrical and electronics products in Malaysia.
